１テモテ４章（欽定訳聖書）

テモ１　４１　しかし、御霊は明らかに言っておられます。後の時になると、[1]たぶらかす霊とダイモニオン共の教とに[2]気をとられて、ある人々は、信仰から離れてしまいます。

２　それは、自身の良心に焼き印をおされている[3]偽りをいう人々の偽善のしわざであり、

３　結婚を禁じ、信仰的で真理を知っている者が感謝していただくために神が造られた食物を[4]断たせようとするのです。

４　しかし、神のすべての被造物は、良いものであって、感謝していただくのであれば、何ひとつ[5]拒むべきものはありません。

５　なぜなら、それらは、神の言と[6]執り成しを通してきよめられるからです。

６　これらのことを兄弟たちに[7]思い起こさせるならば、あなたは、諸々の信仰の言葉とあなたが[8]従ってきた良い教義に養われて、イエス・キリストのよい奉仕者になります。

７　しかし、[9]不敬で[10]愚かな寓話は避けなさい。信心のために自分自身を訓練しなさい。

８　からだの訓練は少しは益するところがあるが、敬虔は、現在のいのちと[11]必ず来る時代のいのちとが約束されてあるので、万事に益となります。

９　これは確実で、[12]全てそのまま受けいれるに[13]ふさわしい言葉です。

１０　わたしたちは、このために[14]骨折って苦労しているのです。それは、すべての人の救主、特にいる信じているf人々の救主である生ける神に、望みを置いてきたからです。

１１　これらの事を命じ、また教えなさい。

１２　[15]だれにも、あなたの年の若さを[16]軽んじさせてはなりません。むしろ、信者の模範になりなさい。言葉において、行いにおいて、愛において、信仰において、そして純潔においても。

１３　わたしがそちらに行く時まで、聖書の朗読と、熱心に勧めることと、教えることとに心を留めなさい。

１４　長老の按手と共に、預言を通してあなたの内に与えられている[17]天与の賜物を、[18]軽視してはなりません。

１５　[19]すべての人に対してあなたの[20]進歩が[21]明らかになるように、これらの事を[22]をよく考え、[23]全力を注ぎなさい。

１６　自分自身のことと教義のこととに[24]気をつけ、それらを常に努めなさい。そうすれば、あなたは自分自身とあなたに聞いている人々とを救うのです。

1Ti 4:1  But the Spirit expressly says that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and teachings of demons,1Ti 4:2  speaking lies in hypocrisy, being seared in their own conscience,1Ti 4:3  forbidding to marry, saying to abstain from foods which God has created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth.1Ti 4:4  For every creation of God is good, and nothing to be refused if it is received with thanksgiving.1Ti 4:5  For it is sanctified through the Word of God and prayer.1Ti 4:6  Having suggested these things to the brothers, you shall be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the Words of Faith and by the good doctrine which you have followed.1Ti 4:7  But refuse profane and old-womanish tales, and exercise yourself to godliness.1Ti 4:8  For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable to all things, having promise of the present life, and of that which is to come.1Ti 4:9  Faithful is the Word, and worthy of all acceptance.1Ti 4:10  For to this we both labor and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the preserver of all men, especially of those who believe.1Ti 4:11  Command and teach these things.1Ti 4:12  Let no one despise your youth, but be an example of the believers, in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.1Ti 4:13  Until I come, attend to reading, to exhortation, to teaching.1Ti 4:14  Do not neglect the gift in you, which was given you by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the body of elders.1Ti 4:15  Meditate on these things; be in these things in order that your improvement may appear to all.1Ti 4:16  Hold on to yourself and to the doctrine; continue in them, for doing this you shall both save yourself and those who hear you.
